Adamite

Adamite

Zn2(AsO4)(OH) / Orthorhombic - Dipyramidal

These crystals come in dark green like those from Lavrion, Greece (often bearing copper or nickel and are often accompanied by smithonite). The yellow adamites are pure adamites from Mexico and can also come in white. The red Cobalt-bearing Adamite are mostly found in Andalusia, Spain and the light blue are Aluminium bearing adamites from Attica, Greece.

Adamite is the most yummy crystal - however do not take this literally as it contains arsenic which is sweet but toxic. It makes the heart happy and alive. It also energetically opens you up like there is no more you versus the outside world. It only really happens with the pristine clear lustrous yellow crystals. They are more expensive than the regular adamites from Mexico and Greece but it is really worth going the extra mile for the good quality ones.

Also the pristine clear Austinite and Cuprian Adamite are really good. Lotharmeyerite is the most powerful but also very rare Adamite that has an added benefit of warming up the heart area as well.

Named after Gilbert Joseph Adam, a French Inspector of Finance for the French Government, who supplied the first specimens of his mineral.

Paradamite is the most powerful manipura (navel) chakra opener of all crystals. Legrandite is second place. Lotharmeyerite is the most powerful Adamite member. There is also a Copper bearing adamite and Nickel bearing Adamite that are both green and are similar to all the green adamites from Lavrion, Greece, energy wise.
