Fluor-Phenakite

Fluor-Phenakite

Be2SiO4F / Trigonal - Rhombohedral (a Nesosilicate)

Fluorite-phenakite from the Ermakovskoe mine in Russia is one of the most powerful and highest in frequency combination of all crystals in the world and the most powerful phenacites in the world.

This is a very unique combination of phenakite merged with fluorine. It lifts the already high frequency of phenakite to an even higher level and connecting it to the highest levels of the angelic domain.
Combine this crystal with Legrandite and you will make those who do not belief in angelic energies into believers.

When the term Fluor is placed in front of phenacite, it indicates the presence of fluorine as a significant part of the mineral's composition, distinguishing it from normal phenacite (Be2SiO4). This prefix suggests that some of the oxygen atoms in the crystal structure of phenacite may be replaced or influenced by fluorine ions, forming a variation or a new mineral species.

Here are the key points to understand about Fluorphenacite:

  • Chemical Modification: Fluorphenacite implies that the standard chemical formula, Be2SiO4, is modified by the inclusion of fluorine. For example, it could lead to a formula like Be2SiO4F or similar, depending on the substitution pattern.
  • Mineralogical Classification: In mineralogy, such naming conventions indicate that the presence of fluorine changes the physical, optical, or crystallographic properties of the mineral. Yet it is not an official recognised name yet.
  • Formation Conditions: The incorporation of fluorine in phenacite likely occurs due to specific geological conditions where fluorine-rich fluids or environments are present during the mineral's formation.
  • Physical Properties: Fluorphenacite display slightly different properties, such as variations in refractive index, hardness, or crystal habit, compared to standard phenacite and obviously the much higher spiritual value.

Phenacite in general is the most powerful 3rd eye (ajna) chakra opener. The fluorine just lifts all the phenacite properties to a higher level.

Phenakite was named in 1833 by Nils Gustaf Nordenskiöld (October 12, 1792, Mäntsälä – February 2, 1866, Finnish/Russian mineralogist) from the Greek for "deceiver" in allusion to its being mistaken for quartz.

Phenakite was already famous for its energy and power from the beginning. It became quite an expensive crystal because of it, however it is still a topper. It fills the body with clear light and clears the entire energetic body. Great for kundalini awakening. It is mainly focussed on the upper chakra's and higher frequency's in the brain and above the head.

The large phenacites from Malyshevo, Izumrudnye Kopi, Tokovaya River, Urals Region, Russian Federation are famous but not the strongest.

This is the location where you find the large clear to gray clear phenakite crystals. These phenakites are really something as well. You can see one I hold in my hand below and are great for carrying in your pocket or just holding them in your hands and enjoy the energies.

Most other phenacites from the other regions are fragile or too expensive or both. So start with these...

Willemite green

Be2SiO4 / Trigonal - Rhombohedral (a Nesosilicate)

The Phenakite Group includes only three minerals; eucryptite, phenakite and willemite. They all have the same basic structure, hence the same symmetry, but different metal ions. Eucryptite's formula is LiAlSiO4. Phenakite's formula is Be2SiO4. Willemite's formula is Zn2SiO4.

Phenakite is the most well crystallized of the three in general, forming the best crystal shapes and the only one consistently cut as gemstones.
Willemite is famous for fluorescing a bright green color under UV light and is found in mass at Franklin and Sterling Hill, New Jersey.

Eucryptite is rarely cut as a gem and only some specimens fluoresce a pink color, but none the less it can be a interesting mineral for collectors.

Eucryptite and Willemite are not part of the top 200 but as it is a family of phenakite I wanted to include the images.
